What's the difference between a travel planner and a travel agent?
Unlike traditional travel agents who often sell package tours to earn commission, I’m not tied to any vendors. I don’t push you toward a certain hotel or tour—I plan what YOU want. It’s all about customizing your experience, not selling someone else’s.

Is this really a custom trip?
Yes! Every trip I design is built from scratch around your preferences, travel style, and pace. No cookie-cutter tours, no generic routes—just the exact kind of travel you’re dreaming of.

Can you book just part of my trip?
Absolutely. I can plan a few days of your trip—like the beginning, a special leg, or a specific destination—while you enjoy the rest however you’d like.​

Do you book airfare?
No, I don’t book flights directly due to the complexities of timing, fares, and entering personal data. But I can help you find great options and give advice on what to book.

What if something goes wrong while I’m traveling?
I’m not a concierge service, but I’ll definitely help guide you in the right direction. This is where travel insurance comes in as well (see below).

Do I need travel insurance?
Yes! Travel insurance is highly recommended. It’s your safety net if something unexpected happens—missed flights, illness, lost luggage, cancellations. I’m not your 24/7 fixer, but insurance can offer support if things go off-track.​​​

How much does this cost?
$69 per planned day of your trip, with a minimum of 3 days. This keeps things flexible and budget-conscious.

Why do I need to pay the full fee upfront?
Honestly? Because some people in the past didn’t follow through with payment after the planning work was done. Full payment upfront ensures we both value the time and effort going into your trip.

Yes. By avoiding packaged tours and mixing individual bookings, I can often help you get better value for your money. Plus, I’m always looking for quality and budget-smart options that suit you—not a one-size-fits-all deal.​​​​​​
Changes, Flexibility, & Getting Started
Can I make changes to the trip plan?
Definitely. Once I send over the proposal, we’ll review it together and fine-tune anything you want—activities, pace, lodging, etc.

What if I want to change the direction of the trip?
If you want to switch things up after the proposal—like changing destinations entirely or designing a whole new leg of your journey—there will be a new planning fee of $69 per travel day. Small tweaks and date changes? Those are totally fine!
